Turnkey Projects
We have undertaken and successfully
completed process plant establishment / processing unit projects on
turnkey basis. The projects broadly cover almost all aspects including
technology development, sequencing and configuring infrastructure
requirements, facility designing, utilities, AHU design as per industry
concepts, process equipment configuration, supplying of process
equipment, logistic support for shipment of equipment, validation master
plan, commissioning & more.
Effective project management of our experienced team of field engineers
provide assistance to client in all involved requirements. Active
interaction with site project personnel ensure timely completion.
Wherein, timely supervision services for installation &
commissioning of equipment & systems makes work process defined and
as per performance & safety guidelines. The performance trials done
demonstrate conformity of equipment to specified parameters. Moreover,
post commissioning training programmes are scheduled for operating
personnel and support services is provided to client as & when
required.
Detergent Plants
Detergents are used for many purposes, and there are wide range of
substrates e.g. surface to be cleaned and of soils. We mainly focus on
main substrate i.e. textile fabrics.
In Turnkey Detergent Plants, for manufacturing of detergents more than
40 & odd ingredients can be used. A detergent is a formulation
comprising essential constituents viz. surface active agents, builders,
boosters, fillers and auxiliaries. Each of these basic materials has its
advantages and disadvantages
SHACHI ENGINEERING PVT. LTD. not only serve the detergent industry by
providing spray dryers [Nozzle/disc atomizers] but with the team of
experts and experience technocrats, we help our clients by providing
technical know-how for detergent formulations with backward integration
for the important raw material manufacturing e.g. sulphation and
sulphonation by batch process. We provide technical know-how to our
esteemed clients considering :-
Availability of raw materials
Ease of manufacturing
Cost of Raw materials
Cost of manufacturing
Suitability of finished products
Market trend.
As SHACHI ENGINEERING PVT. LTD. is a firm believer in quality, we
provide latest analytical methods for raw materials, intermediates and
finished goods.
We, being dedicated, experienced and experts provide our services to
our clients for detergent manufacturing all under one roof.
Not only we are happy by supplying the technical know-how and detergent
manufacturing plants, we are committed to help our clients for
up-gradation, cost reduction, optimum output with excellent results of
the detergents. SHACHI ENGINEERING PVT. LTD. takes special care for
incorporation of perborates, optical brighteners, perfumes and enzymes
in spray dried detergent powder.
SHACHI ENGINEERING PVT. LTD. observe some guidelines as to quality
control of spray dried powder viz.
Good colour properties
Desirable particle size and spread
Correct bulk density
Correct residual moisture content
Absence of stickiness
Uniform composition & appearance

Dairy Plants
Milk Powder Plant consists of a multiple effect evaporator with or
without pasteurizer and a spray dryer. Multiple effect evaporator is
used for concentration of dilute liquid milk having initial
concentration in the range of 8- 10%. Dilute milk is concentrated upto
about 46-48% concentration. This concentrated milk is then treated in
spray dryer. The liquid milk is converted into powder form having
concentration of about 97-99%.
Multi-effect evaporator system used for milk concentration is a
combination of two or more evaporative effects acting as an evaporator
battery. An effect consists of a Calendria and a vapour liquid
separator. Calendria is a shell having a number of tubes bundled
together. Steam is used to evaporate water present in dilute milk,
concentrating it to desired degree of concentration. Steam is circulated
in the shell of calendria. Milk in the tubes gets heated and evaporated
due to steam surrounding the tubes. Vapour along with concentrated milk
is passed over to vapour liquid separator. Vapour is separated and
allowed to pass over to next calendria as a heating medium for that
effect. The concentrated milk separated from vapour in vapour liquid
separator is fed to next evaporator for further concentration and so on.
Finally the milk having desired concentration level is collected from
the last effect vapour separator. The vapour is passed over to the
condenser. Cooling water is used as a cooling medium in condenser. A
part of steam from the first effect is fed to pasteurizer via a
pre-heater. A part of steam/ vapour from second effect is fed to
thermo-compressor. Also, we can pass over a part of vapour from the
first effect to thermo-compressor instead of second.
The evaporation system is kept under vacuum with the help of a vacuum
pump. Vacuum pump is connected to the condenser.
Now this concentrated milk is passed over to Spray Dryer for powder
formation. It is stored in a balance tank It is then fed to the
Atomization system through a variable speed feed Pump. The liquid feed
is atomized and forms a mist. The mist comes in contact with the Hot Air
entering the chamber in a co-current fashion through a specially
designed air distributor. The air distributor, supplied by SHACHI
ensures the uniform spread of hot air and uniform drying of the
particles. The dried powder is separated and discharged below chamber
through an air lock rotary valve.
The fines entrained with the exhaust air from the chamber is separated
in a high efficiency cyclone separator and discharged through the Rotary
Air Lock Valve. The powder discharged from the chamber and high
efficiency cyclone separator is conveyed to the bagging cyclone with the
help of a conveying air blower. The exhaust from the bagging cyclone is
fed back to the main cyclone to ensure further separation of the little
powder entrained in the exhaust. The clean exhaust air coming out is
then vented to the atmosphere.
This entire operation of concentration and drying of milk and producing
milk powder is controlled by locally mounted control panel.

Zero Discharge Plants
Chemical Industries use a large amount of process water and produce
liquid wastes containing lots of chemicals which may be harmful to
living organizations.
These untreated liquid wastes are generally thrown into a river or sea
water. Where they pollute aquatic life and also causing severe problems
to respiratory systems, digestive systems and eyes in humans.
Shachi provides Zero Liquid Discharge Plants, which are a combination
of multi effect evaporators, and Spray Drying Plant. Dilute wastes
streams are concentrated in evaporators battery and then fed to the
spray drying plant. The concentrated liquids is converted into powder,
which can be used as a by - product and can be dumped as land filler.
